Lakewood · Since 2008 · Family-owned
Chris and Ellen Carr feed Bridgeport Way in the morning and the rest of Pierce County when there’s something to celebrate. Breakfast from scratch. Catering from ten guests to five hundred.

Two eggs, hash browns, two bacon, two links. The special changes. The portions do not.
Ham the size of a hubcap. The Miles of Meat skillet. Chicken fried steak under sausage gravy. Cadillac crab omelette. The Daewoo Two — two giant buttermilk pancakes, eggs, and meat. They named the board like a lot on Bridgeport. It still eats like Sunday.

They write it themselves: every meal planned with quality and fresh ingredients.
The same kitchen does the wedding, the office, the Rotary lunch.
Carr’s Catering
Intimate gatherings of ten. Celebrations of five hundred. Buffet, family-style, plated, or drop-off. They customize the quote. If it isn’t on the list, they’ll try to make it.
Grazing tables. Prime rib. Dungeness crab cakes. Waffle bars. Licensed bartenders. Linen and china if you want the whole room handled by one place. Pierce, King, Thurston, and Lewis counties.
Hors d’oeuvres, carving, themed bars — taco, pasta, waffle, mac & cheese.
Salmon mousse, crab cakes, sliders, oysters when the event asks.
Pizza, bagel walls, quesadilla stations — if the party keeps going.
Chris & Ellen Carr
They married on the Big Island in 2007. The work started earlier. Chris was fourteen when he washed dishes for his aunt Marcia at Silver Spoon Café in Tacoma. He stayed ten years and learned every station. Ellen started there too — prep cook, waitress, then a degree in business management.
Carr’s opened in 2008. They sit with Clover Park Rotary. They write that each meal should remind you of home, and that guests leave as extended members of the Carr’s family.
“We take great pride in our efforts to go the extra mile… Each meal we serve should remind you of home.”
